The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will early November this year release the provisional WASSCE results of candidates who sat for the 2020 WASSCE for School Candidates.

It is presumed that the results will be released on Thursday, November 5, 2020, online for candidates who may check to access on the Council’s official results checking website at  https://ghana.waecdirect.org/

The 2020 WASSCE results release date was announced by the Head of Test Administration Division, WAEC, Mr George K. Ohene Mantey in an interview monitored by Myshsrank.com with host Winifred Ampiaw.

“After the marking process of the WASSCE scripts and other stages, candidates are to expect the release the results on the first week of November this year”, Mr George K. Ohene Mantey told Winifred Ampiaw.

The WAEC official further said the management of the WAEC will try as much as possible and minimize errors in the marking of the WASSCE scripts to ensure the much-awaited results are duly released on time for access.

“So If we are fortunate and there are not too many errors to correct, then hopefully by ending of October or early first week of November we will release the 2020 WASSCE results …so probably the first week November”.

According to Mr George, the non-profit-making organization (WAEC) do correct errors during the marking of candidates scripts, a situation he said if there are too many would delay the release of the WASSCE results.

The Council commenced the marking of the all Senior High Schools (SHSs) WASSCE scripts on Monday, September 28, 2020, with over 20,000 Examiners across the country taking part in the marking exercise.
