T.I. AMASS withdraws from the 2022 National Science & Maths Quiz

The school, also known as Real Amass, was one of nine (9) top runners-up from the 2022 Regional Qualifiers that were selected to compete in the National Championship's preliminary round.
The National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2022 National Championship, which began on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, has been canceled by T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School in Kumasi.

The school, also known as Real Amass, was one of nine (9) top runners-up from the 2022 Regional Qualifiers that were selected to compete in the National Championship's preliminary round.

Mr. Ahmed K. Boampong, the school's assistant headmaster, wrote to Primetime, the NSMQ producers, indicating that after the school lost in the Ashanti Regional Qualifiers, their participants focused on the WASSCE.

“When the call-up was extended to us, our contestants had all gone home. When we assembled them finally, we realised they had all gone rusty. We tried our very best to bring them up to a level that will make them make a mark during the competition, but try as we did, our students were still not pulling themselves.”

On October 12, 2022, in the Saarah-Mensah Auditorium, T.I. AMASS was supposed to compete in Contest 22 versus Kumasi High School and Samuel Otu Presby SHS.
A top runner-up will compete against Kumasi High School and Samuel Otu Presby SHS on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in place of T.I. AMASS, who withdrew from the competition.
