Salvation Army senior school also known as SASS is of the best and recent senior high school in the country and is located in the Akin Wenchi near Akin Oda in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

School History

The Salvation Army senior high school in Akim Wenchi was established in September, 1991 as a day/boarding coeducational public/mission institution. It is located on the premises of defunct Ghana consolidated Diamond Company which was bequeathed to the chiefs and people of Akim. The Salvation Army church adopted the school and put up some bungalows and classroom blocks.

Vision and Mission

     The vision of the school is to seek excellent academic results in the midst of self-discipline on the part of both students and staff, contributing their quota by working hard, sowing commitment dedication to their work.

  The mission of the school is to imbibe the moral training that will ensure our students will be unassuming, simple, humble and hardworking citizens who will have a fighting spiriting and never give up till they have achieved set goals of their institutions.
